Germany Liked vs Australia in World Cup Gambling

On Sunday as Germany played Australia in a Group D sports betting game, Germany was favored in World Cup betting.

Germany did have some issues proceeding into this competition, though they were the strong fave in 2010 World Cup sportsbook odds to win this group.

Germany was liked by World Cup 2010 wagering at -210 on the three-way soccer gambling line. Australia was  570 as the Draw was  300. The total on the competition was 2.5. Germany ended third in the 2010 World Cup four years ago. They’d be smart to competition that performance this time around around. Their captain Michael Ballack is out as a result of trauma and most people do not feel that Germany can win the cup devoid of him. Germany should still win Group D however and they were supposed defeat Australia in this match on Sunday although it is unquestionably not as certain as it one time was.

Germany required Bastian Schweinsteiger to play nicely in the midfield and they had to find someone to score. Miroslav Klose wasn’t even a starter with Bayern. He did lead the team in qualifying though with 7 goals.

Manager Joachim Low has said that Lukas Podolski and Schweinsteiger must perform nicely if Germany is to do well in the 2010 World Cup. An additional player to watch could possibly be 21-year old Mesut Ozil. He won 11 goals in only 45 matches with Werder Bremen.

It was the Italians that went on to win the cup in the previous World Cup, and Australia nearly beat them at that time around. Australia most likely gets Germany at the best time. It looked feasible that Australia could steal a point in this match, since the Germans are still unclear about how they will perform devoid of Ballack. Australia is directed by Tim Cahill and Josh Kennedy and they have Harry Kewell and Brett Emerton who are constantly effective at scoring a major goal.

Sadly for Australia, they were not merely beaten, they were completely trashed by Germany. The final score of 4- sealed Germany’s standing as the superior team. Podolski, Klose, Thomas Mueller and Cacau performed the 4 goals. This was the 11th World Cup finals goal of Klose’s career, the 4th for Cacau, and the 1st World Cup goal for Mueller. Podolski hammered in his goal which Aussie goaltender Mark Schwarzer was able to put a hand on, but not able to stop.

It truly wasn’t a shock to see Germany win this competition. They’re three-time champions of the World Cup. Nonetheless, the Germans appeared to betray a bit of conceit before the game. An hurt Michael Ballack’s replacement, new skipper Philip Lahm, declared that Germany would definitely embarrass their foes with their playing skills. It turned out to be true, needless to say,  and embarrassingly so.

Australia is capable of pulling off some upsets however they’re not receiving much support in Group D. This isn’t a squad to be taken lightly. The question remains as to how Germany, who does have more talent, will play on the big stage without Ballack leading them.
